Our Goal
SystemsFair is the Engineering Career Fair at Simon Fraser University (SFU)’s Surrey Campus. Created in 2014, It provides a venue for engineering students to meet with industry employers one-on-one, get a feel for the tech community and the opportunities available to them, and for employers to scout student talent and gain exposure for their organizations.
SFU’s Surrey campus is an emerging technology hub where over 800 students are working towards their MSE, SoSy, or SEE degrees. Companies and organizations use the co-operative education (co-op) program to recruit top mechatronics engineers and software developers from SFU, often offering internships to connect with these talents early.
Our Purpose
SystemsFair aims to bridge the gap between engineering students and potential employers, fostering connections and opening doors to career opportunities. Our focus is on creating a dynamic environment that facilitates networking, learning, and growth for both students and industry professionals.
